I live on the shore of Lake Superior, which gives an awesome background when the waves are crashing. There are five 40 to 60 foot blue spruce lit with over 1500 mini lights each all the way to the top. The fountain is 20 feet tall and contains 2000 white mini lights. In 1999 there were approximately 8,000 lights. This year, 2009 over 100,000 glistening lights will greet your eyes.
My grandson Zach Hales has been helping since he was a little guy and now at 17 is becoming a real pro at climbing the trees. As I approach 65 I'm thankful to have the help.
We are the area's original "interactive" display. Visitors can wander through the paths, walk to the waters edge on the lighted beach path, roast marshmallow's by the firepit, stop in the garden house for a cup of apple cider, visit with Santa on the weekends and.........leave us a note in our guest book.
